Le thi\u00e9bou dieune (Ceebu j\u00ebn, selon l&rsquo;orthographe wolof) est un plat traditionnel compos\u00e9 de riz, de poisson et d&rsquo;une vari\u00e9t\u00e9 de l\u00e9gumes. Pr\u00e9par\u00e9 avec ou sans la tomate, il est servi comme plat de d\u00e9jeuner dans la plupart des m\u00e9nages et dans les restaurants du pays. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-text-align-justify\">La tradition en est transmise de g\u00e9n\u00e9ration en g\u00e9n\u00e9ration. L&rsquo;origine de cette sp\u00e9cialit\u00e9 est associ\u00e9e \u00e0 Saint-Louis, ville c\u00f4ti\u00e8re dans le nord du pays. Ex-capitale de l&rsquo;Afrique Occidentale Fran\u00e7aise (AOF), Saint-Louis est elle-m\u00eame inscrite au patrimoine mat\u00e9riel de l&rsquo;Unesco. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-text-align-justify\">\u00ab\u00a0Le colonisateur avait impos\u00e9 les cultures commerciales \u00e0 la colonie et introduit du riz import\u00e9 de ses colonies d&rsquo;Indochine en substitution aux cultures vivri\u00e8res. Les communaut\u00e9s ont su, dans la r\u00e9silience, s&rsquo;adapter en inventant une recette \u00e0 base de riz et de poisson: le Ceebu j\u00ebn\u00a0\u00bb, indique l&rsquo;Unesco. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-text-align-justify\">\u00ab\u00a0Tout le monde attribue l&rsquo;invention de ce mets \u00e0 Penda Mbaye, une cuisini\u00e8re du village de Guet-Ndar\u00a0\u00bb \u00e0 Saint-Louis, dit l&rsquo;Unesco.
